MARLBOROUGH, MASSACHUSETTS, USA, January 4, 2016 — Bob Hilty Ph.D. joined Xtalic in 2015. In his role as the Vice President of Research and Development, Bob has been responsible for seeking out and developing new product technologies and engaging with customers to solve challenging new problems.
Bob has over 20 years of experience in global R&D and product development. From 2007 to 2012, Bob led R&D at Tyco Electronics and from 2012-2014 he was the Chief Technology Officer at TE Circuit Protection Business. He holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Temple University and a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering & Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Bob has a history of implementing new materials and process technologies in broad industries including consumer electronics, automotive, industrial and communications. Xtalic is excited to have Bob on the team and look forward to his involvement developing future solutions for our customers and any industry that has high value metallurgy problems.
